Who we are

RePiece ("we", "us") runs the RePiece app, where members swap finished puzzles using credits. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions: support@repiece.app.

What we collect

Account details: your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash by our authentication provider).

Shipping details: the mailing address and optional phone number you add, so puzzles can be mailed to you.

Listings: the titles, descriptions, piece counts and photos of puzzles you share.

Activity: your trades, credit history, saved puzzles, ratings, reports you file and members you block.

Device details: a push notification token if you allow notifications, and basic technical logs our providers keep to run the service.

We don't collect your location from your device, and we don't use advertising or cross-app tracking.

How we use it

To run your account, show your listings, arrange trades, keep your credit balance, send you trade updates, keep the community safe (reviewing reports, preventing fraud and abuse), and improve the app. We don't sell your personal information.

What other members see

Other members see your name, the city and state on your profile, your ratings and your listings. When you adopt a puzzle, the sender sees the name and mailing address you saved so they can ship it to you. Your email, phone number and credit balance are never shown to other members.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run RePiece: Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage), Expo (push notifications) and, when enabled, SendGrid (email), Stripe (payments) and Shippo (shipping labels). They process data only to provide their service to us.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your information while your account is open. To delete your account and personal information, email support@repiece.app from the address on your account. We may keep limited trade and credit records where needed to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations.

Children

RePiece is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
